On the threshold of a new beginning, Ladeca Mentoring Association has launched a challenge to the community of Breaza and its surroundings: to join a heartfelt effort, to give a new and equipped backpack to children about to step on the school threshold. It was not just an act of charity, but a commitment to the future of these children.
The campaign started with enthusiasm and the hope that every contribution, no matter how small, can put a smile on the students’ faces. Because education does not begin and end with the first letters written on the blackboard, but with the resources that allow each child to explore and develop their potential.
And the results were not long in coming. In just a few weeks, generosity has taken the form of 30 fully equipped backpacks, ready to accompany children’s tentative steps into the bright classrooms of knowledge. Each backpack was more than just a container for books and notebooks; it was a symbol of a united community, of support for young hopefuls and of unwavering faith in the power of education.
At the opening ceremony of the school year, emotion and gratitude melted the hearts of all present. Donors, representatives of the Association, teachers and, most importantly, children, shared moments of pure joy and hope. The presence of the Association in three of Breaza’s schools was more than a symbolic gesture; it was a promise that education will continue to be supported.
Our heartfelt thanks to each and every person who contributed, whether it was through the donation of a backpack, financial resources or time and effort. Thanks to the shop in Nistorești – LaAlin, for their help in preparing the backpacks. Every gesture played an essential role in the success of this campaign.
Education means future, and through this campaign, we showed that together we can give a better start in life to the children of Breaza.
